Level 2 Authorised ASP/2

Certain electrical work requires a Level 2 accreditation. You may have experienced this problem yourself if you have ever required electrical work doing on your house between your switchboard and the service wires. Luckily, at Ecopense, we have electricians and solar installers who have been accredited by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment for exactly this type of work.

This type of work includes the following:
  • Disconnecting and reconnecting existing premises from the network

  • Disconnecting and reconnecting electricity metering equipment

  • Connecting service lines to the network

  • Energizing the installation

  • Insulating/Isolating power lines for scaffolding, building obstacles and making work sites saver.

We make sure we have a Level 2 electrician on site at all our solar power installs.
This way, if there are any complications with the system and/or the grid or the switchboard you will have an expert right there to take care of it. This will prevent issues, rather than solving the problem after the fact.

Electrical Connectivity to the grid and loads

Being a Level 2 electrical service provider is a big responsibility and we understand how dangerous it can get when working on the Ausgrid network. Level 2 electricians do various types of electrical work and fabrications to ensure everyone’s safety. We offer excavation, concrete cutting and concrete resurfacing as part of our service. Sometimes a core hole drilling service is required when installing private power poles – this is common in areas that are built on sandstone or Rock type surfaces. While designing carports its essential to allow grid connection to energise car charges for rapid, fast and slow charging with rapid and fast charging our level 2 can facilitate the connection with an addition 2 phases. We serve Sydney and surrounding.
